Goodyear Welt
Sewn Sole
Before soiling, a stout strip of welting leather is stitched to
the upper and inner sole.
The sole is then stitched to this welting strip with heavy, wax
dipped thread. Ideal for dress boots.
Screwed Sole
Soft brass, screw threaded wire is spun at high speed in a
machine that 'screws' the sole
to the leather insole of the boot. Being a soft metal, brass
wears down with the leather.
Longhorn Plain Sole
7mm stout rubber composition untreated, non-slip sole.
Makes for extra durability and oil-resistance.
Longhorn Welted Sole
9mm stout rubber composition sole has a significant tread moulded
into it.
Available in brown or gristle. Oil-resistance. Ideal for casual
and work wear.
Mallee sole
Rubber/nitrile unit sole.
