Yates is a family owned business that was established in Renmark, South Australia in 1959.
Founded by the late Leslie Gordon Yates, it was later handed down to his three sons Peter, Roger and Bronte, and is now solely managed by grandson Haydn Yates.
In recent times, Yates has grown to encompass different aspects of the retail clothing industry, including Yates Menswear, Yates Workwear, Yates Big Mens, and Yates Riverside Surf. Our store also offers Embroidery, Alterations, and Dry Cleaning, amongst many other things! Our mobile workwear vehicles regularly service the entire Riverland and Mallee regions, and we also travel beyond!

As manager, I would like to impress on everyone that while our business remains competitive with all of it's products and prices, our focus is not always the 'bottom dollar.' We have attributed success over the years to offering good, solid customer service - something many lament is missing in todays world. It has always been our belief that people who come into our store want to be 'served,' and not simply pointed toward an aisle to help themselves. We want you to leave our store looking, and feeling good about shopping with us.
Our staff are friendly, switched-on people, who work together as a team, and we will always go that little bit further to help you out. We can offer expert product knowledge, show you alternatives, offer our suggestions, and give you our opinions. We believe this is the way shopping was meant to be done, and we strive to make the experience as pleasant and enjoyable for you as we can.
